Acquisition of G4S by GardaWorld approved

The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the proposed acquisition of control by public bid over 

G4S PLC, of the UK (global integrated security business, offering a broad range of security services around the world) by  GardaWorld Security Corporation, of Canada (security services and cash services company, offering physical security services, end-to-end cash management solutions and security risk management)

The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would raise no competition concerns, because of the limited impact it would have on the market.
