Acquisition of joint control over Virgin Atlantic by Air-France-KLM, Delta and Virgin Group: approval decision published

Official publication has been made of the European Commission’s decision of 12 February 2019 approving, under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of joint control over Virgin Atlantic (UK-based air transport and cargo services airline) by Air France-KLM (of France), Delta (US-based airline) and the Virgin Group (holding company of Virgin Atlantic, based in the British Virgin Islands and ultimately controlled by Sir Richard Branson).
