Amendments to Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived published

Official publication has been made of Regulation 2021/177 amending Regulation 223/2014 (lays down the rules applicable to the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived) as regards the introduction of specific measures for addressing the crisis associated with the outbreak of COVID-19.

Adopted last week on 10 February, Regulation 2021/177 aims at fighting the particularly negative impact that the COVID-19 crisis is having on the Fund and on the ability of partner organisations to deliver support to the people most heavily affected by the crisis. In particular, it provides:

A higher level of pre-financing payment for the quick implementation of actions supported by additional resources unlocked in accordance with Regulation 20
