Assistant professor of EU law position available at Erasmus University Rotterdam
The Department of International and European Union Law at Erasmus School of Law (Rotterdam, Netherlands) is seeking an assistant professor of EU law.
The assistant professor will be involved in the preparation and teaching of the Department’s Bachelor courses in EU law, supervision of master theses, and will develop an own research profile in line with Erasmus School of Law’s research profile of a place ‘where Law meets Business’ with a special focus on EU regulation of markets (fundamental freedoms, state aid law and the law of regulated markets).
Candidates must hold a PhD in law on an EU law related subject, have experience in teaching EU law at the undergraduate level, hold a Basic Teaching Qualification, or are prepared to acquire this within the first year of appointment and have an excellent command of English.
The offer envisages a part-time contract for 18 months with the possibility of a fixed employment contract or tenure.
The starting date is 1 December 2021.
