Bulgaria sends European Delegated Prosecutor candidates for EPPO

The newly established European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) reported last week that it has received from the Bulgarian authorities the names of ten candidates for the role of European Delegated Prosecutors.

The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) is an independent EU body that has the competence to investigate, prosecute and bring to judgment crimes against the EU budget, such as fraud, corruption or serious cross-border VAT fraud.

Bulgaria is the eighth country to send nominations.
