Case law of the CJEU on transfers of personal data to third countries: European Data Protection Supervisor’s Digest

The European Data Protection Supervisor has published a digest of the Court of Justice of the European Union’s case law on data protection law, focusing on the rules governing transfers of personal data to third countries or international organisations.

The aim of the digest is stated as being to clarify the Court’s analysis of the law in this area, to set out the logic and steps in its findings, and allow key issues to be explored.
