Commission adopts ninth enhanced surveillance report for Greece

Yesterday, on 24 February 2021, the European Commission adopted the ninth enhanced surveillance report for Greece, monitoring the commitments made by the Greek government at the Eurogroup of 22 June 2018.

Economic developments and policies in Greece are monitored under the European Semester for economic policy coordination and under the enhanced surveillance framework according to Regulation 472/2013. The ninth enhanced surveillance report is based on the findings of a mission held remotely on 26-27 January 2021 and regular dialogue with the authorities.
