Commission Implementing Regulation on record-keeping obligations and technical means for issuance of certificates for importers of organic products published

The European Commission has published its Implementing Regulation 2021/2119, which lays down certain rules concerning the certificate issued to operators, groups of operators and exporters in third countries involved in the imports of organic and in-conversion products into the Union and establishes the list of recognised control authorities and control bodies in accordance with Regulation 2018/848. 

Regulation 2018/848 requires that operators and groups of operators are subject to controls by control authorities in order to import a product for the purpose of placing it on the market within the Union as an organic product or as in-conversion product.
