Commission Implementing Regulation: Production of export authorization for COVID-19 vaccines extended
Official publication has been made of Commission Implementing Regulation 2021/1728, which amends two previous Implementing Regulations 2021/442 and 2021/521, making certain products subject to the production of an export authorisation.
The production of an export authorisation, which was imposed in order to ensure transparency of export deliveries and security of Union supplies, applies to COVID-19 vaccines as well as active substances, including master and working cell banks, used to manufacture these vaccines.
The new Implementing Regulation published today extends the measures introduced by the two previous acts until 31 December 2021.
