Commission imposes anti-dumping duties on Chinese calcium silicon and graphite electrode systems 

Official publication has been made of Commission Implementing Regulations 2021/1811 and 2021/1812, imposing provisional anti-dumping duties on imports of calcium silicon and certain graphite electrode systems originating from China.

This comes in addition to the reimposition of anti-dumping duties on Chinese wire rod and the definitive but suspended anti-dumping duties on Chinese imports of aluminium flat-rolled products approved this week, as reported by EU Law Live here and here.

The Commission found that provisional measures were required in order to prevent further injury being caused to the EU industry by the dumped imports. The duties range from 31.5-50.6% with regard to calcium silicon and between 24.5 and 66.5% for
