Commission investigates whether anti-dumping measures for imports of biodiesel from Canada shall be repealed for Verbio Diesel

The Commission has published its Implementing Regulation 2021/2157, which initiates a review of the anti-dumping and countervailing duty on imports of biodiesel consigned from Canada for one Canadian exporting producer in order to determine whether those measures shall be repealed. 

In 2009, the Council imposed definitive countervailing and anti-dumping duties on imports of biodiesel originating in the United States of America and posteriorly extended them to imports of biodiesel consigned from Canada, whether declared as originating in Canada or not. The measures have been renewed various times and are in force currently under Implementing Regulations 2021/1266 and 2021/1267.
