
Commission launches anti-dumping investigation into ceramic tiles originating in India and Turkey
The European Commission published today a notice of initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of ceramic tiles originating in India and Turkey.
On 3 November 2021, the European Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association complained to the Commission that imports of ceramic tiles coming from India and Turkey were being dumped, causing significant distortions in the internal market.
The Commission has found that there is sufficient evidence of anti-dumping practices and has decided to launch the investigation procedure, which aims to ensure that international distortions of competition in the form of dumped or subsidised imports do not result in dramatic shifts in trade flows insofar as these are harmful to the
