Commission launches investigation for breach of anti-dumping measures on imports of monosodium glutamate originating in China

Today, publication was made in the Official Journal of Commission Implementing Regulation 2020/230 initiating an investigation concerning possible circumvention of anti-dumping measures imposed by Implementing Regulation 2015/83 on imports of monosodium glutamate originating in the People’s Republic of China, and making such imports subject to registration. The investigation procedure is based on Regulation 2016/1036 on protection against dumped imports from countries that are not members of the European Union (‘the basic Regulation’).
