Commission publishes reports of online platforms’ efforts to tackle COVID-19 disinformation

The European Commission has published today the latest reports by online platforms on their actions taken between September and October 2021 to tackle COVID-19 disinformation. 

The Commission received reports from Facebook, Google, Microsoft, TikTok, Twitter and Mozilla. The reports summarise the actions taken by these actors to limit the spread of false and misleading information on their services. According to the Commission, overall, they show that the signatories to the Code have stepped up their efforts considerably.
