Commission reimposes countervailing and anti-dumping duties on certain Indian iron products as regards Jindal Saw Limited

Today, official publication was made of two Commission Implementing Regulations 2020/526 and 2020/527, which reimpose a definitive countervailing duty and a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of tubes and pipes of ductile cast iron (also known as spheroidal graphite cast iron) originating in India as regards Jindal Saw Limited (‘Jindal’), following two judgments of the General Court.

These implementing regulations result from the annulment by the General Court, insofar as Jindal is concerned, of two implementing regulations adopted by the Commission on 17 March 2016 as regards imports of tubes and pipes of ductile cast iron originating in India.
