Common approach to end-user certificates in the context of the export of small arms and light weapons now published
Council Decision (CFSP) 2021/38 establishing a common approach on the elements of end-user certificates in the context of the export of small arms and light weapons and their ammunition (SALW), adopted last week on 15 January, has been officially published today.
This Decision aims at diminishing the risk of diversion, creating a level playing field, and increasing clarity for the defence industry and its clients regarding relevant requirements.
