Competition law and sports: General Court’s judgment in International Skating Union v Commission brought in appeal before the Court of Justice

The International Skating Union has brought an appeal before the Court of Justice (C-124/21 P) against the judgment of the General in International Skating Union v European Commission (T-93/18), which dismissed the appellant’s action for annulment against Commission Decision of 8 December 2017 in Case AT. 40208 — International Skating Union's Eligibility rules.

By this decision, the Commission took the view that the International Skating Union (‘ISU’) infringed Article 101 TFEU and Article 53 of the EEA Agreement by the adoption and enforcement of its Eligibility rules.
