Council conclusions adopted for EU support to Mozambique

Today the Council has adopted conclusions (by written procedure) that reiterate the EU’s availability to support Mozambique. That support will come under the framework Peace and National Reconciliation Agreement that was signed in August 2019 by both parties as well as the Mozambican National Resistance, as well as through dialogue, working together on sustainable economic transformation and diversification, economic and political governance reforms, and by encouraging cooperation between Mozambique and its neighbouring countries.
