Council Regulation suspending CCT duties on certain agricultural and industrial products published

Official publication has been made of Council Regulation 2021/2278, suspending the Common Customs Tariff (CCT) duties on certain agricultural and industrial products and repealing Regulation 1378/2013.

The Council has decided to grant a partial or complete suspension of the CCT duties on certain agricultural and industrial products, since the Union supplies of those products depend on imports from third countries.

More specifically, the Regulation provides:

(i) that 31 December 2022 should be the date for mandatory review of certain suspensions of CCT duties on integrated battery production; (ii) that not only the weight in kilograms or tonnes should be entered in the customs declaration for release for free circulatio
