Court of Justice to clarify legal standing criteria to challenge EU-UK Withdrawal Agreement

In Shindler and Others v Council (C-501/21 P) the Court of Justice will rule on an appeal brought against an order by the General Court (sitting in Extended Composition) in case T-198/20, dismissing as inadmissible an action for annulment of the EU-UK Withdrawal Agreement and of Council Decision 2020/135, on the conclusion of said Agreement. 

The General Court’s order dismissed the action insofar as the applicants were not individually concerned by the contested decision and insofar as the subject matter of the action was not a regulatory act not entailing implementing measures under Article 263 TFEU.
