Court of Justice to clarify whether and how aid granted to research entities funded mainly through economic activities is covered by the General Block Exemption Regulation

Official publication has been made of a request for a preliminary ruling (C-318/21) made by the Regional Administrative Court in Latvia (Administratīvā apgabaltiesa) regarding the interpretation of the General Block Exemption Regulation (Commission Regulation 651/2014, ‘GBER’) when applied to entities independently conducting fundamental research, industrial research or experimental development.
