Court of Justice upholds disciplinary decision against former Head of Unit for inappropriate behaviour

The Court of Justice delivered judgment in Bernaldo de Quirós v Commission (C-583/19 P) dismissing an action for annulment against a General Court judgment ​​(T-273/18), which confirmed that the former Head of Unit of the Traineeships Office engaged in inappropriate behaviour towards the members of her unit and disregarded the procedures for selecting trainees at the Commission, thus undermining the dignity of her post.

The case originated after five members of her unit filed complaints alleging unacceptable behaviour towards the unit's staff and of irregularities in the trainee selection procedure at the Commission.
