EU adopts new Arctic Strategy
The High Representative and the Commission have adopted a Communication on a stronger EU engagement for a peaceful, sustainable and prosperous Arctic, in its aims to further strengthen the Arctic engagement. The EU has committed to increasing engagement in and around the Arctic region, in response to the geopolitical, environmental, economic, security and social challenges they face, and to managing new opportunities.
