EU air safety list amended to remove Moldovan airlines

With the official publication of Implementing Regulation 2021/2070, the European Commission has amended the EU Air Safety List, which includes the air carriers that are subject to a ban from operating under certain conditions in the EU.

The latest amendment has removed all airlines certified in Moldova from the list, following improvements to aviation safety in the country. However, one Russian air carrier has been added to the List in view of concerns about its ability to comply with international standards.
