EU Network for cooperation between public employment services prolonged and strengthened

The EU’s current Decision on cooperation between public employment services (PES) (573/2014) expires on 31 December 2020, and an amending Decision (2020/1872) has been published today, to cover the period for the establishment of an EU-wide PES network from 1 January 2021 until 31 December 2027.

The Network is responsible for strengthening the capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of PES by providing a platform through which they can be compared at EU level, enabling best practices and mutual-learning to take place.
