The Court of Justice of the European Union offers each year a limited number of paid traineeships in the private offices of the Members of the Court of Justice and the General Court of the European Union and in the departments of the Court for a period of five months.
Traineeships at the Court are mainly carried out in the Legal Translation Directorate, the Research and Documentation Directorate, the Communication Directorate, the Protocol and Visits Directorate, the Legal Adviser for Administrative Matters, the Registry of the Court of First Instance and the Interpretation Directorate.
The Autumn-Winter traineeships take place from 16 September to 15 February for traineeships in firms and from 1 October to 28 February for traineeships in departments (applications must be submitted from 1 February to 15 April each year).
Candidates with a university degree in law or political science (with a major in law) or, for traineeships in the Interpretation Directorate, a diploma in conference interpreting, must apply via the EU CV Online application by the deadline.
The amount of the grant is €1 177 net per month.
For working reasons, a good knowledge of the French language is desirable.
