This Transnational Training Workshop is intended to study the effectiveness of jurisdictional protection in the field of Asylum and Migration. By focusing on the protection of the fundamental rights of migrants, asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection, this workshop aims to enable participants to analyse how the protection of migrants and foreigners can be ensured in the light of article 47 of the Charter of fundamental rights of the European Union and the EU general principles.
A first session will be devoted to effective protection in the event of detention, removal, expulsion or Dublin transfer of migrants by analysing the scope and the impact of Articles 19 and 47 of the EU Charter. The second session will focus more specifically on the right to asylum with a study of both procedural and substantive rights and aspects.
This training is addressed to judges and lawyers from all over the EU.
