
Increase in customs duties for import of certain products originating in the United States now published and in force
Today, official publication has been made of Commission Implementing Regulation 2020/502 of 6 April 2020 on certain commercial policy measures concerning certain products originating in the United States of America.
This Implementing Regulation provides for a suspension of trade concessions in the form of an increase in customs duties on selected products originating in the United States imported into the UE. In this way, the Commission exercises the right to rebalance concessions in the trade relations with third countries on the basis of Article 4(1) of Regulation 654/2014.
