Mahindra and Mahindra and Ford Motor Company acquisition of Ardour Automotive approved by Commission

The Commission has given its approval for the acquisition of joint control over the Indian Ardour Automotive Private Limited (passenger vehicles company) by Indian Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (automotive and automotive markets), and US-established Ford Motor Company (broadly speaking active in manufacture and services relating to Ford vehicles as well as financial services and others).

The reason for the Commission’s decision is that there would be limited activities arising from the acquisition in the EEA, and thus no competition concerns would emerge.

The Commission’s press release includes a link to the official file.
