Mergers: Commission authorises joint control over autoSense by Swisscom, AMAG, and Zurich

In a Decision of two days ago, 25 November, published today, the European Commission approved the acquisition of joint control by Swisscom Schweiz AG, AMAG Import AG, and Zürich Versicherungs-Gesselschaft AG over autoSense AG, a provider of products and services in the field of connected cars. After assessing the transaction under the simplified merger review procedure, the Commission concluded it raises no competition concerns because autoSense has negligible actual or foreseen activities within the territory of the European Economic Area.

More information on the case is available on the Commission’s competition website.
