

New report on prosecution of sanctions violations in national jurisdictions
The European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST) has published a new expert report providing a comparative analysis of the prosecution of sanctions (restrictive measures) violations in national jurisdictions.
The report presents (i) an overview of the United Nations and European Union sanctions regimes; (ii) national cases in the EU concerning sanctions violations and complicity of corporate actors in core international crimes; and (iii) an overview of national legislation and penalties for sanctions violations. Its overall goal is to provide a comparative overview of legislative solutions implemented by Member States and the Genocide Network Observer States to penalise sanctions violations.
