Position of Legal and Data Protection Officer available at BEREC

The Agency for Support for Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) is seeking applicants for the post of Legal and Data Protection Officer at its headquarters in Latvia for a term of three years, with the possibility of renewal. 

The job holder will provide legal opinions and advice for the implementation of the BEREC Regulation and other relevant legal acts, monitor the compliance with antifraud rules, ensure that BEREC respects its legal obligations in the field of data protection, advise on any measures impacting protection and processing of personal data, in particular in the field of new technologies, amongst others.
