Request for a preliminary ruling published: does diplomatic card constitute residence document?

The Court of Justice will be ruling on the request for a preliminary ruling lodged by the Raad van State (Netherlands) in Staatssecretaris van Justitie en Veiligheid; Other parties: E. and S., also on behalf of their minor children (C-568/21), concerning the definition of a residence document under Dublin Regulation. 

The case originates in rejection to examine the applications of the third-country nationals for international protection on the grounds that diplomatic cards issued to them by a Member State do not constitute a residence document and conferred them only a diplomatic status.
