Ryanair appeals General Court rulings dismissing its challenge against French and Swedish State aid measures for airlines

Official publication has been made Ryanair’s appeals (C-209/21 P and C-210/21 P) against the judgments of the General Court in cases T-238/20 and T-259/20, by which it dismissed actions brought by the Ireland-based low-cost airline against decisions of the European Commission authorising French and Swedish State aid measures adopted in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis to support airlines holding national licences.

The judgments, as reported here by EU Law Live, were the first by an EU court on State aid measures adopted to grant relief as a consequence of the COVID-19 crisis.
