Three positions available: Counsellor to the European Chief Prosecutor

The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO), the first EU independent Prosecution service, is seeking three candidates for the position of Counsellor to the European Chief Prosecutor (ECP) at its headquarters in Luxembourg. 

The successful candidates will work in the Strategy and Executive Office Unit in the following positions:

  • Counsellor to the European Chief Prosecutor for operational matters, providing support and advice to the ECP in her operational duties;
  • Counsellor to the European Chief Prosecutor for international relations, providing support and advice to the ECP in her duty to represent the EPPO vis-à-vis third countries;
  • Counsellor to the European Chief Prosecutor for inter-institutional relations, providing support and advice to the ECP in her duty to represent the EPPO vis-à-vis the institutions of the Union and Member States.

Candidates must hold a university degree and those applying for the position of Counsellor for operational matters must have at least 15 years of professional experience in prosecutorial work, legal expertise and judicial cooperation, and for the rest of the positions – at least 10 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates must also have a thorough knowledge of one of the official EU languages and a satisfactory knowledge of another.
