Data used for the identification of global systemically important institutions updated by the EBA
Data has been updated, and 12 indicators published, contributing to the basis on which smaller banks will be identified as ‘global systemically important institutions’ (G-SIIs), by the European Banking Authority (EBA), a central data hub in the disclosure process.
Standards have been developed in accordance with Capital Requirements Directive 2013/36 on the basis of internationally agreed standards, such as the framework established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) and the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS).
The data is updated annually, and a user-friendly platform is used to aggregate it across the EU.
