ESA closes 60 cases to increase its efficiency
The EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) has decided to close 60 cases with the aim of increasing its efficiency and effectiveness.
The cases identified for closure concern 39 complaint cases, seven conformity assessments and 14 own-initiative cases. As reported by ESA, the closure of these cases will allow the organisation to concentrate its resources on cases that have a greater impact on the functioning of the EEA Agreement. However, the decision to close these cases does not indicate the compliance of the national laws or administrative practices concerned with EEA law, and it does not prevent ESA from taking action in the future.
