The past years have seen momentous developments in terms of transparency of EU agency science. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has undergone a far-reaching reform, following two landmark judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union (Tweedale and Hautala) and wide public contestation over the authorisation of the pesticide glyphosate (see here and here)
